As I hope everyone who is reading this is aware, Monday October 11th is National coming out day. Here is a little article that expresses the importance of this day. As the article states, it is more important than ever that we tell our stories and let young people know that they are not alone. Which the resent amount of gay suicides it should be clear there's truth in the old saying "there is strength in numbers". I don't mean we can beat everyone up. I think that when young GLBT members can see that they are not alone and that there are people, groups, and organizations that care and can help them; they will feel less isolated and take the avenues available to them. This will decrease and hopefully eradicate these types of tragedies.
